About The SCMW Program
Silk City Media Workshop is an after-school program for middle and high school students from Paterson, NJ. Housed in the Passaic County Community College's Community Technology Center (CTC) and funded through local, federal and private funding, this program partners with local agencies such as the Paterson YMCA, ASPIRA, Father English Center, Paterson Planned Parenthood and Garrett Morgan Academy to provide urban youth with an alternative to more traditional after-school activities while offering access to digital media for the purpose of creative expression and development of 21st Century knowledge and skills.
